A taste of the Heart of the Saints
Day One:  
9:00am Start your day off at the John Deere Tractor Assembly Plant. The tour is a comprehensive and interesting look at those big green tractors from start to finish. There will be plenty of time to visit the gift shop at the tour's conclusion.
12:00pm Grab a bite to eat in Cedar Fall's newly designated Cultural District. There are a variety of cuisines sure to please any palate.
1:00pm After a refreshing lunch, continue your experience in the Cultural District by exploring the many unique shops along Main Street.
4:00pm Explore the country side and travel a short 60 minutes south to Cedar Rapids.
5:00pm Visit Cedar Rapids, Czech Village where you will experience Old World atmosphere along the Cedar River. There are a variety of gift and specialty shops, bakery, and restaurants.
6:30pm After a long day of site-seeing enjoy a Czech meal at Zindrick's Restaurant.
8:00pm Stay the night stay at a Heart of the Saints hotel or bed & breakfast

Day Two:  
8:00am After a relaxing stay at an area hotel or bed & breakfast, start your morning off right with an Amana homemade pastry and coffee.
9:00am Explore the Amana Colonies many attractions! Tour the Amana Furniture and Clock Shop, Amana Heritage Museum, or shop the many unique specialty stores throughout.
11:30am Travel to Iowa City/Coralville
12:00pm Arrive in Iowa City's downtown pedestrian mall, located in the newly designated Cultural District. Here you will find a variety of cuisines and restaurants sure to please everyone's liking.
1:00pm Tour the Museum of Natural History and see billions of years of Iowa's natural history, featuring a nine-foot-tall giant Ice Age Sloth.
3:30pm Shop til you drop at Coral Ridge Mall. Here you find over 100 stores, information center to purchase Iowa souvenirs, and many restaurants for those needing an afternoon snack.
5:00pm Tour concludes


Heart of the Saints...A family destination!
Day One:  
9:00am Start your vacation off with the Amana Colonies. A National Historic Landmark, the seven villages of the Amana Colonies offer a variety of attractions from Iowa's only Woolen Mill, furniture and clock making shops, wineries, and bakeries.
12:00pm Enjoy lunch at one of Amana's tasty family style restaurants.
1:00pm Explore more of the Amana Colonies
2:30pm Travel a short 19 miles East to Iowa City/Coralville
3:00pm Enjoy the great outdoors and travel back in time at the Coralville Lake and Devonian Fossil Gorge. Hike the many trails, see the fossils of sea-creatures from over 375 million years ago exposed from the flood of 1993, and take a swim in the lake after a long hike.
4:30pm Shop Coral Ridge Mall…this is not your typical mall! Includes over 100 shops, the Iowa Children's Museum, carousel, 10-plex movie theatre, and ice-skating rink. Everyone in your family will be sure to find something to do while visiting this mall.
6:00pm Dine at one of the many restaurants in the mall or just surrounding the mall. There are a variety of restaurants within minutes.
8:00pm Stay the night at a Heart of the Saints hotel or bed & breakfast

Day Two:  
9:00am Start your day off in Cedar Rapids at the Science Station, McLeod/Bussee IMAX Dome Theatre. Home to the only IMAX Dome Theatre in Iowa! This attraction also includes over 130 hands-on science and technology exhibits…perfect for all ages!
11:30am Grant Wood Studio at 5 Turner Lane, Cedar Rapids. Step back in time as you enter the original studio where American artist Grant Wood lived and worked between 1924-1935.
12:30pm Lunch at one of the many Cedar Rapids Downtown restaurants
3:00pm Arrive in Cedar Falls at the Family Tree Herb Farm. This 3.5-acre farm features a display garden and the Red Barn Gift Shop filled with herbal products, crafts, twig furniture, garden accessories and books.
5:00pm Dinner at a local restaurant in Cedar Falls/Waterloo
7:00pm Enjoy a night at a Heart of the Saints hotel or bed & breakfast

Day Three:  
9:00am Put on your hiking shoes or hop on your bike and discover over 80 miles of hard surfaced recreational trails at the Northern-most point of the American Discovery Trail. These trails run through wooded areas, along lakes, downtown areas, and the beautiful Cedar River.
11:30am Enjoy lunch at a restaurant along the Cedar Valley Trails.
1:00pm Cool off at the Lost Adventure Park-Iowa's Largest Waterpark in Waterloo! Featuring over 8 major slides, lazy river, wave pool, toddler area, adventure golf, go-karts, plus much more!
